..it's been awhile...

Geez..it's been like..a freakin' year and a half since I last wrote this thing.  My last entry says I was married to Preston.  Uh yea..alot has changed.  Preston and I divorced Feb. 2008.  Christmas of 2006, Preston told me he wanted a divorce.  I found out he was on drugs, specifically cocaine, and that he had a baby boy on the way....and it definitely wasn't by me because I sure wasn't pregnant.  Things went on and off.  One day Preston would want a divorce and the next day he wouldn't.  He finally said he wanted a divorce after 7 months of marriage.  My family wanted me out of the marriage so badly that my quiet grandfather stepped up and offered to pay for the divorce if I would just PLEASE GET ONE.  I figured if my grandpa was saying something, then I HAD to do SOMETHING.  Of course, I wasn't perfect either....far from it; however, I wanted to keep my marriage intact, but God had other plans.  I did not go into this marriage with prayer, but I praise God for taking the situation and making good come out of it.  Because I was married, I was able to go back to college for free!  Classic example of God taking the bad and making some good.  I was such a messed up little girl.  I had so many problems.....heck, I was just plain crazy.  Praise God for His deliverance!!!  Right now, I'm back in school.  This summer I'll *hopefully* have my associate's degree in music, then I am planning on transferring to Southeastern Seminary this fall.  I am so excited!!  I love music, but I believe God has called me to something else.  I'm going to seminary for Christian Apologetics.  Apologetics has always been a passion of mine, and I feel like I should pursue it.  That about sums up what's going on right now.
